Only looking forward to the co main event and the main event from UFC 101. here are my predictions.
Anderson Silva vs. Forrest Griffin
I only want to see Silva blazing punches and kicks away at a Griffin who’s going to come full charge against the Spider.
Some say it will be a tough test for Silva considering that Forrest is bigger than him and had those two victories over Shogun and Rampage, but I think Silva’s just too technical for Griffin to handle, and I believe Silva is deceptionally strong as well.
It would be interesting if Griffin can bring the fight to the ground in his favor and see how he would fare up being on top of Anderson Silva.
My Predicted Victor: Anderson Silva
BJ Penn vs. Kenny Florian
I truly believe that Kenny is no match for BJ. The only think I can think off for Kenny to win is via a decision or be better cardio wise against BJ in the entire fight. And Florian should not engage much with BJ (use Muay Thai and get out and in accordingly), and definitely not get locked up in a ground or BJJ battle with BJ.
If BJ doesn’t come in this fight full blazing or more importantly motivated through the entire fight’s duration, it’s gonna be a difficult.
