WHY DO PEOPLE BLOG

ABSTRACT

The purpose of this assignment is to find out the reasoning on why people do blogging. Matters that will be presented below will be representing the usual and also "unusual" factors that make majority of Internet users to do the phenomenon that is blog.

I would like to thank nobody because this assignment was done purely on my own intention and the research carried out, as well as the facts written that were thought up, was done by myself.

INTRODUCTION
Blogging has been existent and now popularly used throughout the world since the past several years, especially when successful blogging sites such as Xanga, Blogger and LiveJournal were launched and they carry the capability for any person that uses the Internet to easily create their own blogs without much difficulty. There is no doubt that different kind of motives exist behind any person's will when they do blogging. And the work and investigation carried out for the purpose of this assignment will be highlighting those motives, together with some explanations.

REASONS OF BLOGGING
The following statements written below are stating the reasons as why do people blog:
  1. As a personal diary. To write what has been going on in their daily lives.
  2. So that they can write their personal thoughts regarding anything, what ever thought that they could be thinking of.
  3. To write out their opinions on any matter, that they could be thinking of (for example, on any person that is in the world spotlight - be it in politics, sports or film industry, on any thing that is happening in the world such as elections, general disasters or functions, or even on anything happening in their life or on any person that they are acquainted with).
  4. To write up on their interests, hobbies or the stuff they like to do so that it can be viewed for other people to read.
  5. To write up on things happening daily.
  6. To keep up and collect various links on the Internet that would be linking to all sorts of matter (friends, other blogs, favourite websites, news, etc.).
  7. To post information relating to what these bloggers like and favour. Examples, a blogger would post information on computers if they are a computer enthusiasts, or bloggers who are sports fanatics would be posting the latest news on their favoured sport and athletes.
  8. To post any multimedia files on their blogs, like music, videos, and also pictures. These elements could either relate to themselves or on any subject available in the world.
  9. To share any of their interests with anybody else who share the same interests as them. So that they can communicate with each other (through blogging's capability to post comments) on what they like.
  10. To publish their thoughts so that they can connect with specific audiences. For example, a politician would blog to express his or her views on any subject so that their followers would know their opinions (which can enhanced their influences and popularity).
  11. To keep themselves abreast on things happening in the world, either through their own perspectives or other bloggers' perspectives.
  12. To read and look for other people's blogs.
  13. To possibly find new people or new friends.
  14. To read up on the information presented on other people's blogs.
  15. To comment on other people's blogs.
  16. So that they can communicate, discuss, or debate with either friends or foreigners.
  17. So that they can blog.
  18. So that they can use the capability that blogging offers them, so they can design their blog site in any way or design that they like.
  19. To express their expressions on life or any matter possible.
  20. So that they can improve their language when they write or type at their blogs.
  21. To find any new information.
  22. To keep themselves busy.
  23. Because it is their choice to blog.
  24. Because they have nothing much to do.
  25. Because (obviously) they like blogging so much.
  26. Because (obviously) they want to try out blogging.
  27. Because (obviously) they have nothing much better to do.
  28. Because (unobviously) they hate blogging.
  29. Because they got influenced by other people to blog.
  30. Because they are forced to blog.
  31. Because their life depends on their blog.
  32. Because they could be killed if they don't blog.
  33. Because blogging is a new kind of cancer or desease, that is quickly and rapidly spreading all over the world.
  34. Because they cannot stop blogging.
  35. Because they is no dependable cure to stop bloggers from blogging.
  36. Because they blog.
  37. Because they are bloggers.
  38. Because they are worth it (like the L'Oreal beauty product slogan).
  39. Because they don't care.
  40. Because they don't give a damn.
  41. Because they don't give a sh-t.
  42. Because they don't give a f-ck.
  43. Because they are happy.
  44. Because they are sad.
  45. Because they do not feel anything.
  46. Because they are good.
  47. Because they are evil.
  48. Because they are humans.
  49. Because they are sick.
  50. Because they are low-lifes.
  51. Because they are sorry pathetic basta-ds.
  52. Because they are mentally disturbed psychopaths.
  53. So that they can hinder themselves from crime (for example: extortion, stealing, pirating software).
  54. So that they can hinder themselves from pain (for example: car accidents, dog bite, cobra venom, doctors surgery tools).
  55. So that they can hinder themselves from disasters (for example: volcanoes, hurricanes, floodings, electric shock, murder).
  56. So that they can hinder themselves from pornography.
  57. So that they can hinder themselves from ogling at naked fleshes or body parts of a female (if you are a male), or naked fleshes or body parts of a male (if you are female), or naked fleshes or body parts of a female (if you are lesbian), or naked fleshes or body parts of a male (if you are gay), or naked fleshes or body parts of a female and male (if you are bisexual).
  58. So that they can critique any body or any thing at any time.
  59. So that they can curse and diss endlessly on any body or any thing at any time.
  60. To spread hateness.
  61. To spread conspiracies.
  62. To spread false alarms.
  63. So that they can write vulgar words like sh-t, fu-k, basta-d, muthfu-ka, co-ksucka, pri-k, c-nt, son of a b-tch, ..... and so on.
  64. To become a stalker by reading up the blogs of their victims.
  65. To spy on information (for example, James Bond can read his rivals blog so he can figure out the necessary steps to make to gain his desired objectives, materials or information).
  66. To be a voyeur by voyeuring on other people's blogs (for example, Arsene Wenger can voyeur onto Jose Mourinho's blog so that he can figure out Mourinho's next tactics and players).
  67. To communicate with family, friends, lovers, mistresses or employees secretly (for example, Osama bin Laden can blog so that he can make communication with his al-Qaeda members where the American authorities would not be aware of it).
  68. To give out orders secretly (for example, a mob boss who is in jail can give out orders to his henchmen so that they can carry out the mob boss' orders - such as killing or assassinating rival gangsters).
  69. To pin point work among other accomplices secretly (for example, drug traffickers would communicate through blog so they would know where and when to extradite drugs among potential buyers, pimps, presidents and dealers).
  70. BECAUSE BLOGGING WAS CREATED AND IS NOW EXISTANT.
CONCLUSION
It can be concluded that they are various reasons as to why people blog. And these reasons are as stated from the write up above. From doing it just for fun, conspiracy or hitting back at any muthafu-kin' rival. It can be said that the general consensus of blogging is the write up on the perspectives and own views of the bloggers that blog.
