Usually when I blog something about football, it's usually relating to the game. This is something different.
The father of Futbol Club Barcelona captain Carles Puyol, Josep Puyol, had passed away in an unfortunate circumstance. The news came as Puyol and the rest of the team arrived in La Coruña, and he had to rushed back to Barcelona straight after touch down.
I hope the Barça team do their part by trying to achieve 3 points at Estadio Riazor.
Football for a footballer or a footballing fan is always a big & important issue, but when stuff like this happens, you know things have to be put aside for a more important occasion.
I wish all the best to Carles Puyol and his family, in overcoming this matter.
