"For when we rage, advice is often seen By blunting us to make out wits more keen." - William Shakespeare
It’s a very tough period for every Barcelonista around the world at this moment. The draw against Chelsea was damn
The damn part was that, for me, both goals conceded were more on the carelessness and lapses in concentration. But what is tougher is that both Chelsea and Mourinho seemed like they won the whole damn thing already, and no one of us Culés like to see that. Very tensioned and angry at the end of the match.
The game was quite even. Although some commentators and newspapers stated that the game was of high quality, I found it to be an ill and bad tempered affair, especially in the second half. With the fouls, yellow cards and rash challenges being dished out by both sides, it seemed to me that the game could have been just like the game between Netherlands and Portugal back in the last World Cup, as in the end the ref pulled out 10 yellow cards, except no one got sent off. And of course, there’s the usual one sided biased pathetic commenting from the English commentators.

Just kills the mood. The only positive outcome from this match is that Barcelona are gaining some of that winning and fighting spirit back (although I felt that Chelsea did more in the first half whereas Barça did more in the second). This time around, Ronaldinho demonized Boulahrouz’s game. That was evident as first, the Gudjohnsen goal was an assist from Ronaldinho who outskilled and outran Boulahrouz (and some minutes later Ronaldinho again stomped Boulahrouz as let in a subtle cross ahead of the Dutchman only for Eidur to squander an excellent chance that would have killed off the game) and secondly, he was taken out only to be replaced by Essien (!) and Ferreira who was available only came in during the latter minutes just to waste time. Deco played good, nice goal.
And the other fact is that it’s still in their hands to ensure progress to the next round, as Bremen will be coming to the Camp Nou in the last fixture of the group stage, so that’s very tough.
Fu-k all this crap. I want a possible revenge in the latter stages. There’s still unfinished business. And the translator has got to pay. Lots of people will be yearning for it, I’m sure of that.
