Had two lucky moments today.
“Boy, boy…”. I thought somebody was calling me, as when we left, I was a bit behind the other two. Turned behind, saw the lady waving to me, pointing to the ground.
I saw my pouch on the ground, and it was near a drain area that had the rusty, iron grill covering on it. It was just on the tip of the grill! Could have fallen off!
Came up, took it up, said my thanks to the lady. Although I said it softly, don’t know whether she heard it or not, but grateful none the less. Besides, there were two Indian guys watching.
Came back to the other two. Shoun asked “ Your wallet ah?”
I said no, just something to keep my coins and syillings.
I didn’t feel that panicky and was some sort of unruffled by the whole thing. Maybe it’s because the pouch only contained several coins and a RM 1 note only. Had it gone down the drain, not a big deal so much, as the loss is not as serious as losing my own wallet (what with all the cash, IC - MyCard, Driving Licence, cards…….). Had the lady not called me, I wouldn’t even notice that my coin pouch was missing! But even a lost of that thing is not that worrying. But none the less, thanks to a goodwill act from an unknown lady walking by the street, it was destiny that the whole thing occurred (haha).
Bought a bottle with a price tag of RM 45. But in the end, I paid the cashier only RM 36. Hmmm……Caring still sell the products displayed with a discount it seems. It saved up some money! (Wohooo! - Homer Simpson)
