- An expensive defeat. This brings to end to an abysmal and disappointing season of Futbol Club Barcelona in 2007-2008. Barcelona did just not have the clinical finishing edge, besides not being able to distribute the ball for attack as crucial as possible(nothing new though). Scholes’s goal occurred from a lapse of pass from Zambrotta. At this stage and this kind of encounter, a small mistake can cost you very much and a very expensive price.
Positives
- The only positive thing is, now the rebuilding phase will have to truly begin. This season’s campaign is over. The crucial thing and element now is for a brand new FC Barcelona, to be back on track in winning the top trophies come next year. And there’s no one else in a more crucial position right now in order for Barça to be back than Joan Laporta.
