“If you know the enemy and know yourself you need not fear
the results of a hundred battles.” - Sun Tzu
The big clash will finally come to reality once again.
I haven't been able to find the time to write up a full preview of my thoughts on how the game would turn out. Perhaps for the second game, I would find time to prepare something else for the second battle).
Won't make any predictions, hard to predict, although there's the fact that this game (and the return match at Camp Nou) would only be a group match, so the pressure of a knock-out elimination game won't be around. That said, it should still be a spectacle, a clash between two different styles of football being played by the respective champions of England and Spain, with all the top players on display.
It's gonna be odd too, that out of all the players that will be playing tonight, Eidur Gudjonsen will be the odd one out.
But anyway, here I wanna state some facts that had been revolving from the previous encounters between these two clubs that are currently 'the Clash of the Titans' of Europe at the moment that resurfaced again tonight:

But anyway, here I wanna state some facts that had been revolving from the previous encounters between these two clubs that are currently 'the Clash of the Titans' of Europe at the moment that resurfaced again tonight:
- Chelsea always scores first.
- A Chelsea player to get dismissed from the pitch.
- Terry, Lampard, Ronaldinho to score (had Eto'o been available, he would be another probable scorer).
- Mourinho's usual grumbles (first it was Anders Frisks. Then it was Lionel Messi. Don't know what's gonna happen this time time around).
That's about it. Oh, there's another thing I want to say. Ever since the Rijkaard/Mourinho battles started, there's always an Argentinian who had proved to be a pain in the backside for both Chelsea and Mourinho. Back in 2005, it was Maxi Lopez. Earlier this year, it was Messi. I'm just wondering whether this time around, it's gonna be Javier Saviola?....
Whatever it is, I can't wait. Truly the most anticipated match in europe yet. Hope it's gonna be wonderful. ¡¡Vamos Barça!!
